"They lie then charge you to return"
I have ordered ma y parts from lmc was always happy until this year 2023 I ordered an alternator it said it is a gen 1 ford replacement but it didn't fit. I was told the mechanic they have said it fit then was told he was not available to talk to since he is in another state and I asked what truck he installed it on I was told I don't know. They had not clue what truck or alternator he used but they said it fit. It is smashed against the blocking gen 1 ford alternators ate the same size even if amperage is different. Was told I can't return it cause they say it fits but they also say they don't have mechanics that test fit the parts. Then was told they have all the vehicles they have parts for just to make sure they fit. Which answer is the truth. I asked them to define what an engine is and was told "there is only 1 engine under the hood" that's there definition of an engine. I did verify my engine is stock. Just be aware this company will tell you it fits when it dies not. The website says original quality but they sell you plastic when it should be metal. I rebuild classics and I'm now taking my other 3 frame up restorations to another company for parts.
The disrespect on the phone is terrible this company lost my business I had 20k per truck to order my 60k wont be spent at lmc
I was told I would get a return label for my alternator they sent me an invoice instead.

"Hi I just bought a crome bumper not…"
Hi I just bought a crome bumper not even a 1 and half old and the crome started peeling out and when I called it only had a year warranty if I would've known I would've paid the extras hundreds at the dealer for the bumper if the crome peels out I just don't know why they sell this product I won't recommend to buy crome parts from here I normally don't write a review but this time I felt like I had to

"Catalog us wrong"
The parts they sent me was the wrong parts for my truck, the catalog is wrong, sent pics of the parts that I needed, never heard a word from them. Called and they didn't have any idea of what I was talking about. Left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing at lmc truck. Its been 2 weeks still haven't contacted me back about the wrong parts. Want order anything again from them again unless I just can't find it nowhere else.

"Your parts are crap!"
I would like to say that I've been a customer of Lmc truck for over 25yrs. Up until @ 2 yrs. Ago I was totally satisfied with service & quality of parts. In the last 2 yrs. I have tried to up date my electrical system in my 1976 F-100 pick up. Not one part had worked! Fuel tank sending units,4, still doesn't work,voltage regulators,4, ignition switch,2,dash circuit board 3, voltage stabilizer, 4,etc,etc. I'm a mechanic by trade. I've been chasing my tail, because of bad parts! They have been very nice& have sent me replacements...but they are from the same manufacturer. CHINA, TAIWAN, HONDURAS, AFGHANISTAN!!!...REALLY!!! I'M VERY DISAPPOINTED. I can by junk at Advance or Auto Zone. Don't send me another piece of crap part until you can send me something that actually works!

"I ordered 2 parts for my Tahoe"
I ordered 2 parts for my Tahoe, both parts were inferior in quality. Very crappy quality. Then, when I requested to return the parts, they want to charge me for return shipping charges. So with LMC you get poor quality and pi__ poor customer support.

"Bad experience"
My first time ordering from LMC. Ordered metal push button (retro style) seatbelts, as shown on their website, for a 1990 Chevy K5 Blazer. LMC sends over a newer gen plastic push button style. No big deal, I'll just return them, right?

Nope, customer service tells me they sent exactly what was on their website. After going round and round, they finally agree to send me a pre-paid shipping label so I could return. Ok, done deal, right?

Nope, LMC then decides upon receipt, that since they sent me what I ordered, that I should pay for the outbound shipping. 2nd level customer service then explains to me that the warehouse said the part was correct. Not once has someone said "let me look at the website and physically compare against what we shipped you". Very dishonest and unethical.

Painful to deal with, I wouldn't recommend unless you have no other options to get the part you need. I ended up disputing the charge with my CC at this point since the vendor (LMC) left me with no choice.

UPDATE: After disputing the charge with my CC company, I also filed a case/complaint with the BBB. The issue was successfully resolved through that channel, with LMC refunding me and finally agreeing that what they shipped to me didn’t match what was shown on their website, which they are working to resolve.

"I was promised they would go out the next day!"
I've ordered from LMC in the past so I called prior to ordering my parts this time to check stock and to confirm when the parts would ship. I was told they would go out the next day. Not getting an email confirmation two days later I called again, I find out my parts are still not processed. It's one thing to wait some extra days on your order but when you call and are promised they will go out the next day and they don't, that's another thing. It's a shame because LMC sells good parts and their website is easy to navigate and a big help in finding the parts you need. They really need to get their act together or more and more customers will shop elsewhere.

"Still Waiting for the order to ship!!!!!!"
I ordered a reasonable number of parts for my 94 chevy 1500 on the 16th of February 2023. It is now the 22 of February and Taysia D had this to say:
"Processing of all orders can take 24-72 business hours prior to leaving our facility, the parts are in stock." Meanwhile, all of my other parts (different vendors) have arrived. I didn't expect for these items to get here quick, but an entire week is a little excessive.😒

Updarte:

All parts arrived this past weekend in one piece. They may have been bad on the communication but when the parts all show up and are correct, I call that a win.

I ordered brake lines for 1996 Dodge received lines when we got around to installing we found out the fittings on the lines were not the same they were two different sizes and did not match what was on truck I will not be ordering any more from LMC

"had nothing but terrible quality"
had nothing but terrible quality. Their air vents have gaps from hell, dash bezel is straight out of the box and the wood grain is already pealing. thought I’d give LMC another shot after a few years of not using them, but their quality is still the worst.

"LMC is a failure"
LMC truck has become another company that continues to blame Covid for lack of customer service,lack of timely shipping and lack of basic giving a f***.

Waiting months for a backorded bumper that was paid for….then calling to cancel the order and paying a restocking fee for a bumper that was never sent and having the CSR tell me
That bumper is one that probably won’t return to stock…. Overpaying time after time for shipping. Paying 100 dollars
To ship a ford ranger front bumper that takes some troll in their warehouse four days to pull off the shelf.

I am thankfully about done with my ranger rebuild and due to lack of other vendors having these parts I am forced to deal with a slimy vendor like LMC. I hope I never have to deal with them again.

"Ordered a hood for my 2005 Duramax"
Ordered a hood for my 2005 Duramax. Wrong hood was sent out. Finally get the second hood and it's the wrong style! Both hoods came completely damaged. The lady i spoke to over email and phone said it's completely normal for them to come damaged. Will never recommend or order from them again!

"We used to use LMC Truck for all our…"
We used to use LMC Truck for all our pickup restorations. Since covid hit their customer service has gone down hill drastically. I used to average over $20,000-$30,000 a year with them, now I use them as a last resort. Can't use a company that takes 4 days to ship out a part to our shop, especially when it is just some bumper bolts and nuts. Had an issue with a wiper motor for a pickup that I ordered. I sent them pictures of the parts to them showing why the part wouldn't work. It took them over a month to get back to me with a BS solution that wouldn't fix the issue. I ordered a wiper kit from a different company and had zero issues. Hope they can get their issues figured out soon, until then I'll continue using someone else.
